Senior Counsel Charles Kanjama has won the election to become the new President of the Law Society of Kenya after receiving 3,728 votes.
He defeated his main competitor, Peter Wanyama, who got 2,616 votes, while the current LSK Vice President, Mwaura Kabata, came in third with 2,086 votes.
This means Kanjama secured a clear victory in a closely watched election within Kenya’s legal community.
