The Linda Mwananchi faction of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has accused the broad-based arrangement of sabotaging the 10-point agenda signed between the late Raila Odinga and President William Ruto. ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna stated that the party's Central Management Committee was supposed to submit progress reports every two months and a final report to the public on March 7, 2026.

Sifuna questioned why the government treated March 7 as an anniversary instead of a deadline, saying "Baba they have woken up today to mock your legacy while swearing in your name." He added that the committee's operations lacked transparency and regular reporting, with Kenyans getting public relations narratives instead of clear progress reports.

ODM Deputy Party Leader Godfrey Osotsi echoed Sifuna's sentiments, stating that the committee's lack of transparency was undermining ODM's founding ideals of democracy, justice, and social reform. The Linda Mwananchi faction plans to present an independent assessment of the 10-point agenda, giving the government a score of 10% for implementation.

President Ruto has extended the committee's mandate by 60 days, citing their great work. However, the faction argues that the extension is unconstitutional and null and void.
