The Judiciary has gazetted 15 Small Claims Courts across Kenya and established new Court of Appeal stations in Kakamega and Meru, effective next month. This move aims to expand access to justice and bring court services closer to the public. The new Court of Appeal stations in Kakamega and Meru will enhance the appellate court's presence in the western region and Meru, reducing travel distances for litigants. The Kakamega Court of Appeal will be based at the Kakamega Law Courts, while the Meru Court of Appeal will be at the Nkubu Law Courts.
