The newly launched Instant Fines Traffic Management System will automatically detect offences and send violation notifications directly to motorists via SMS.
According to NTSA, the platform operates entirely without human intervention, a move the authority says is meant to strengthen transparency, efficiency, and accountability in traffic enforcement across the country.

Motorists who receive the SMS notifications will be required to settle their fines within seven days through branches of KCB Group.
NTSA warned that failure to clear the penalties within the stipulated timeline will attract additional interest charges.
“Motorists who receive fines through the system will be required to pay the penalties within seven days through branches of KCB Group.”
The authority further cautioned that drivers with outstanding fines will be locked out of NTSA digital service platforms until all penalties are settled.
“Drivers have been urged to observe traffic rules and promptly respond to any official notifications issued through the system.”
NTSA is encouraging motorists to strictly follow traffic regulations to avoid penalties under the new automated enforcement system.
