ODM leader Dr. Oburu Oginga has pushed back against criticism that the 10-point agenda signed between President William Ruto and the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga hasn't been implemented. Oburu points to tangible progress in devolution, with funds allocated to strengthen county governments, and highlights that Parliament has set aside Ksh. 2 billion to compensate protest victims.

He also notes that employment opportunities are becoming more inclusive, citing the appointment of a PS from Rarieda. "The employment opportunities, the inclusivity is already being seen," Oburu said, emphasizing that critics are misleading the public.

On the broad-based government agreement, Oburu reiterated that ODM has given him a mandate to negotiate with President Ruto's UDA. "I am yet to form a team to start the negotiations... We are not going there as weaklings," he said, signaling a robust approach to the talks.

Oburu's comments come amidst internal ODM debates on the party's direction, with factions differing on the 10-point agenda and coalition talks with the ruling party.
