Tusker FC is on the verge of announcing French tactician Julien Mette as their new head coach, with Harambee Stars assistant coach Anthony Kimani set to join him as his deputy. Mette's appointment is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the club, while Kimani's experience with the national team will undoubtedly be an asset.

Kimani, a former midfielder, has a wealth of experience in Kenyan football, having played for clubs like Sofapaka and Bandari, and representing Harambee Stars in international competitions. He recently joined Benni McCarthy's coaching staff as an assistant coach, working alongside Vasili Manousakis and goalkeeper trainer Joseph Moeneeb.

Tusker FC's current captain, Charles Momanyi, has been instrumental in guiding the team, but the club is looking for a new challenge after a mixed start to the season. Mette's appointment is expected to bring stability and success to the team.
