Saudi Arabia has confirmed its official list of 66 countries whose citizens will be eligible to apply for a tourist eVisa in 2026, with only three African nations making the list.

The African countries included are South Africa, Mauritius, and Seychelles. Citizens from these nations will be able to apply for a tourist eVisa online, facilitating faster and more convenient travel arrangements for those planning visits to the Kingdom for tourism purposes.
Citizens from other African nations will continue to follow the standard visa application process, as they are not yet included in the eVisa program. This move signifies a selective approach to digital travel facilitation, possibly reflecting diplomatic relations or logistical considerations.
