Dr. Swarup Mishra, the renowned Kenyan politician and former MP for Kesses Constituency (2017–2022), is also the founder and chairman of Mediheal Hospital Group. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mishra is the proud owner of a magnificent country home at Elgon View Estate in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
The mansion is surrounded by a beautifully manicured garden, reflecting the passions of Dr. Pallavi, Dr. Mishra’s wife, who adores trees and flowers. In an interview on KTN’s Art of Living with Nailentei Kenga, she shared that she spends most of her time in the garden, socializing and enjoying the sun. The estate’s entrance features impressive pillars, natural plants, and unique sculptures that immediately catch the eye.
Inside, visitors are welcomed into a formal lounge area, furnished with grey and brown-black leather sofas imported from India. The accent wall is decorated with carefully selected artefacts, including a unique tile art piece from China. Dr. Pallavi explained that her husband often holds formal meetings in this space, providing a private area for serious conversations without family interruptions.
The lounge flows into the main living room, which boasts high ceilings, Italian marble floors, and large floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking garden views. Two crystal chandeliers illuminate the room, adding a touch of elegance to the contemporary design.
Adjacent to the living area is a sleek dining space featuring a brown table surrounded by six white chairs, perfect for family meals. The couple’s modern open-plan kitchen is designed for both style and functionality, featuring slab cabinet doors, a granite island, and an inviting layout that allows interaction with guests in the living or dining areas while cooking.
