The University of Nairobi (UoN) has emerged as the only Kenyan university featured in the latest rankings released by the Centre for World University Rankings (CWUR), reinforcing its position as the country's leading institution of higher learning.The annual CWUR rankings assess universities across the globe using indicators such as quality of education, employability of graduates, quality of faculty, and research performance. The rankings are considered among the world's most comprehensive university evaluation systems because they rely on objective data rather than surveys and university submissions.
Recognition for Research and Academic Excellence
UoN's inclusion in the global rankings reflects its continued strength in research output, academic performance, and international visibility. The university has consistently ranked among Kenya's top-performing institutions across various international ranking systems and remains one of the country's most recognized universities globally.
