During the National Prayer Breakfast in Nairobi, he reassured Kenyans of his administration's commitment to fostering peace, democracy, and stability as the country approaches the electoral period.

In his address, President William Ruto weighed in on the ongoing political debate surrounding the possibility of serving one or two terms, asserting his confidence that Kenya will conduct peaceful, free, and fair elections. He urged the public to remain focused on development and unity, emphasizing that the country's progress depends on maintaining stability.
"Between now and the next election, we will drive the transformation of this country, and we are going to have elections, and they will be peaceful, and there will be no violence. They will be free and fair because what God has decided no one can change, so relax," Ruto said. He framed the election outcomes, including his own potential future in office, as ultimately dependent on divine will, calling on Kenyans to stay calm and trust the nation's democratic institutions.
He warned against attempts to sow division or destabilize national unity, asserting that such efforts would fail. "Those who believe they will divide this country, they will not succeed… they will fail and fail spectacularly," he stated. Ruto also highlighted Kenya's stable development trajectory, urging citizens to have confidence in the country's direction and reaffirming his pride in his Kenyan identity.
